Kinari & White variations.
As you can see, Kinari is off-white. White is recommended for those who are interested in dyeing their own garments. It dyes much more clearly than Kinari, however, to have a dusty/less vibrant color, Kinari is recommended. We have many returning customers who are craftspeople so after several requests, we decided to offer both options.
Just like plant-based dyes, botanical dye colors come from plant-based materials (flowers, seeds, leaves, etc). The difference is, botanical dye colors are brighter and longer-lasting through scientific research. The potency of colors is extracted (100% natural plant materials) and color-fasting comes from researching the perfect amount of protein agent (mordant) is necessary for binding to the fiber. This way the dye absorbs deep into the fiber and colors last much longer than pure plant dyeing.
What we are proud of is how long-lasting the natural dyes are. We have used plant dyes that are known for their longevity of color. **Avoid direct sunlight – plant color dyes will fade in sunlight.**
